ASRV Teams up With Dupont™ Kevlar® Team for Futuristic Sportswear Line

Sportswear label ASRV, which has for long bridged the gap between classic sportswear silhouettes and innovative new styles, has teamed up with the DuPont™ Kevlar® Team as part of their ongoing mission to push the boundaries of performance and develop the next generation of sportswear. For their first product line, the ASRV x Kevlar® CityTrek Collection will consist of a variety of incredibly durable, highly reflective bags, designed with the notion of urban commuting in mind. The collaboration will feature a Backpack, Crossbody Bag, Duffle Bag, and Weekender Bag.

To design a line of bags that are fully optimized for the active urban lifestyle, ASRV worked with the DuPont™ Kevlar® team to develop a sophisticated material that contains a dark grey finish in the daylight but transforms into complete hi-vis reflectivity at night. This material comes along with 10k waterproofing for navigating all weather conditions and the bags are constructed with Kevlar® K29 fibers for extreme durability and abrasion-resistance, so it’s built to last. The internal lining is 100% ripstop nylon and the bags are sewn with Kevlar® brand threading for added strength and longevity. Each one finishes with natural leather base panels, matte black custom zipper hardware on the main pockets and embroidered patch logos.
