'Fortnite' Unveils 'Naruto' Skins, Emotes, Creative Map and More
The Epic Games title has recreated the anime’s Hidden Leaf Village.
Fortnite has officially welcomed Naruto to its gameplay.
Beginning Tuesday, users will be able to play as characters from the popular anime series Naruto: Shippuden in the Epic Games‘ battle royal title. Four Naruto characters — Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno, and Kakashi Hatake — along with a Kurama glider, a Summoning Jutsu emote, a Ramen Break emote and two loading screens are now available in the game’s Item Shop.
In addition to the skins, Fortnite has added a new Naruto weapon to the game: a throwable Paper Bomb Kuani. Players will also be able to take quests from Kakashi Hatake on the Fortnite island, and the game’s developers have added a full Naruto creative map based on the Hidden Leaf Village from the anime. There, players can visit notable locations, including the Hokage Residences and Ichikaru, that have been reimagined for Fortnite‘s gameplay.
The Naruto Creative Hub will open on November 16 at 10 a.m. ET and close on November 23 at 10 a.m. ET. The Hidden Leaf Village Adventure Map will become available at the same time and remain open until November 29 at 10 a.m. ET.
