Naked & Famous Denim Teams Up With ‘Friday the 13th’ Just in Time for Halloween
Featuring three pairs of horror-themed jeans and a denim jacket.
Naked & Famous Denim has teamed up with movie franchise Friday the 13th for a Halloween-ready capsule collection, presenting the Jason Voorhees Selvedge jean.
Inspired by the renowned horror movie series, the capsule includes three pairs of jeans and a denim jacket that were constructed from heavyweight 21oz Japanese selvedge denim and include a rode dyed indigo treatment with a hint of red to symbolize Jason’s bloody history. The denim was slowly woven on vintage shuttle looms in Okayama, Japan to create a loose weave that will showcase wear over time.
Additionally, the jeans include a triple redline selvedge ID that nods to the three stripes on Jason’s hockey mask. The signature mask also appears on the back pocket as an embroidered patch. For an added touch, the inside pockets feature printed pocket bags illustrating Jason stalking a victim at Camp Crystal Lake. Additional details throughout the jeans include black non-reflective buttons and rivets, a dual-branded logo on the waistband and a leather patch featuring Jason from Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood.
The Naked & Famous x Friday the 13th jeans will be available Friday, October 22 at 11 a.m. ET online at Naked & Famous and Tate + Yoko.
