IWC and Collective Horology Create Members-Only Pilot's Chronograph C.03
The 125-piece limited edition uses a German language day wheel.

IWC and Collective Horology have collaborated on a new Pilot’s Watch to mark the arrival of the Californian collector’s group to the UK.
The 41mm IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Edition C.03 takes its inspiration from IWC’s Fliegerchronograph 3706, a favorite of Collective’s co-founder Gabe Reilly.
White indices sit in stark contrast on the watch’s black dial, while a German language day wheel has been selected as a nod to IWC’s Swiss-German roots.
“The C.03 is our love letter to IWC,” says Reilly. “With the IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Edition C.03 we’ve sought to create a watch that distills our favorite IWC era and model – the late 1990s and IW3706, the first Pilot’s Chronograph. This time and watch still live on in the hearts of collectors worldwide. The brand had an unapologetic swagger, a no-frills Swiss-German approach to design, and displayed serious watchmaking bonafides. With this project, we aimed to bottle that spirit, and bring it into a modern context.”
Collective Horology, which was founded by childhood friends Asher Rapkin and Gabe Reilly, creates collaborative watches with brands which are only made available to their members. The group is now expanding beyond the US for the first time, opening up its membership to British customers.
Just 125 pieces will be offered to Collective Horology’s membership, new and old, with the price on a leather strap $7,150 USD.
Elsewhere in watches, URWERK discontinues Tony Stark’s watch of choice with one-off charity auction.
