Nike Free Run Trail Emerges With a "Concord" Makeover
Complete with “Habanero Red” and “Taxi” accents.
Nike prides itself on having some of the biggest technical advancements in footwear history, and in 2004 it introduced the Nike Free Run line. Widely admired for its barefoot sensation, the shoes released in various iterations, one of which is the Nike Free Run Trail that saw its return to the market earlier this year. After dropping in a Fall-friendly “Thunder Blue” colorway, the silhouette has now surfaced in a “Concord” color palette.
Uppers are constructed with ventilated and shaggy suede mesh that is dyed with its titular hue. Beneath this layer is a mesh bootie that contrasts with a bright white, while “Taxi” accents splash onto the lateral Swooshes and the Free Run cross signs that rest on the tongues. Moreover, bursts of “Habanero Red” drop off onto Nike lettering that graces the lower parts of the throat and the striped heel tabs while notes of black coat the laces and the interior liners. Downstairs, the trail-friendly sole units opt for the yin and yang aesthetic with white making the strongest statement.
Parties interested in copping can do so now via the Nike site for $110 USD.
Elsewhere in the realm of footwear, Nike ACG just unveiled its upcoming Air Mowabb “Limestone” colorway.
