Drake Celebrates 35th Birthday With 'Narcos'-Themed Party
Young Thug gifts The Boy an iced-out OVO chain for his birthday.
Drake rounded up his closest friends over the weekend to ring in his 35th birthday celebrations. In a Narcos-themed birthday party titled “Chico Amante,” which translates to “lover boy,” evidently a nod at Drake’s success with Certified Lover Boy, stars came decked out in their best renditions of the Netflix series, where table were covered in money and bricks of fake cocaine. Guests also received special “Chico Amante” merch.
Drizzy showed up in a full denim-on-denim ensemble for the occasion, including a cowboy hat, boots, fringe jacket, denim shirt and a bolo tie. The party was hosted at Goya Studios and was joined by the likes of French Montana, Offset, jack Harlow, Luka Sabbat, Future and of course his father Dennis Graham. French Montana led the crowd to sing “Happy Birthday” to the Toronto hip-hop star and even presented a Pablo Escobar.
Young Thug gifted Drake a one-of-a-kind double-sided OVO chain that featured a photograph of him and his son, Adonis. The iced-out necklace was made by Elliot Eliante. Take a look below at the chain and what went on inside the birthday celebrations.
