H&M has just announced Simone Rocha as its next designer collaborator. Included in her forthcoming collection will be elegantly-styled and romantically-themed garments that will be released under the womenswear, menswear and childrenswear departments.

This marks the first time that the Swedish fashion label has worked with an Irish designer. As oft-seen in her work, this impending capsule aims to encapsulate everything from her multicultural heritage to Hong Kong traditions and art history — all elements of which have both influenced and defined the growth of her self-titled label.

In this collaborative assortment, consumers will find a shoppable barrage of silhouettes such as tulle dresses, knitwear, shirting, trenches, casual tees and accessories, as well as Rocha’s pearl-adorned footwear and signature jewelry meant to be worn for any season. Highlighted among the pieces are patterns from tartans to florals, spews of love-inducing reds and pinks, beaded textures and bespoke fabrications that were crafted in-house exclusively for this partnership.

“I am so thrilled to be working with H&M on this very special collection. It truly is a celebration of the signatures of my brand, and the influences that have shaped me”, says Rocha. “As a designer, and as a customer, I’ve been such a fan of the H&M collaboration concept. Margiela, Alber Elbaz, Comme des Garcons – it’s such an amazing list of alumni to be a part of.”

Prices for the products have yet to be announced, but you can expect the Simone Rocha x H&M collection to launch on March 11, 2021.
