HBO Max Trailer Reveals New Footage of Sub-zero in Action and John Cena as Peacemaker
Alongside ‘The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It’ and ‘Space Jam.’
The new HBO Max trailer teases fans with glimpses of almost all the films on the Warner Bros. 2021 list, announcing earlier that all its films releasing to theaters will simultaneously and exclusively be hitting HBO Max at no extra charge for its subscribers.
With the new trailer, HBO Max has unveiled new footage for some of the most highly anticipated films coming this year. The trailer includes new footage from Mortal Kombat and Suicide Squad, along with The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, Many Saints of Newark, and Angelina Jolie’s Those Who Wish Me Dead. Other films that also previewed include The Matrix 4, Dune, and In the Heights.
The first Warner Bros’ film to hit HBO Max was Wonder Woman 1984, made available on the streaming platform during the Christmas holiday. On track to hit the streamer is the ’90s detective story, The Little Things starring Denzel Washington, Jared Leto, and Rami Malek, following the highly anticipated Judas and the Black Messiah, Tom & Jerry, and blockbuster Godzilla vs. Kong.
The production studio’s decision to release all its films on HBO Max initially sparked bits of controversy, but it is playing out to be the smart move, given the current status for 2021 films. With many large blockbuster films delaying release dates, any hopes of a box office recovery in 2021 are quickly swept away.
