Watch 'Rich Rebuilds' Test Out His Homemade Tesla Cyberquad ATV
With a 0-60 time in under four seconds.
Home DIY builder, YouTuber, and car addict Rich Rebuilds has just released a full video of him building and test-driving his homemade Tesla Cyberquad ATV. Named the “Starscream,” the project started out as a 2008 Yamaha 700 quad bike but was fitted with a powerful electric motor from a ZERO motorcycle.
The finished product looks almost identical to the one seen at the Cybertruck’s unveiling, but the difference this time around is that we get to see the “Starscream” pushed to its limits, cranking out a 0-60 time in under 4 seconds, as well as reaching a top speed over 100 mph. The quad was also able to tow a Humvee at a speed of 20 mph.
When full juiced up via its thumb lever throttle, the thing sounds like a power drill on steroids. For those that can’t wait for the official release of the Tesla Cyberquad, check out Rich Rebuilds’ in the video above.
