Jayy Grams Premieres New "Unstoppable" Music Video
From the Baltimore native’s recently released ‘Every Gram Counts’ project.
Northwest, Baltimore and Cinematic Music Group rapper Jayy Grams returns to premiere his latest visual for “Unstoppable,” one of his standout singles from his recently released Every Gram Counts project. The Wes King-produced track flawlessly blends some vocal sample loops to transport you back to the golden-era of 1990s hip-hop while the drums just hit different.
“Everything happened organically — this video wasn’t even gonna be shot but Rook happened to be in Baltimore and we linked up,” the rapper told HYPEBEAST on how the visual came together. YBS Skola had just gotten out and Rook was down there to shoot with him. He reached out to [Cinematic Music Group founder] Jonnyshipes and we got it done. Me and Rook have done shit together before so it’s natural. We didn’t even really have a treatment, he had heard the song before so we just visualized it and shot it.”
As for what the rapper has been up to during the coronavirus quarantine, he told HYPEBEAST, “I’ve been living pretty regularly. Definitely been trying to be responsible and stay socially distant, but besides the basic stuff being closed down not a lot has changed for me. But live shows, hell yeah I miss those shits. I feel like it’s just awakening a sleeping giant and prepping me for when I can go back out there, though. Live shows are what I miss most.”

His upcoming Red Interior project, consisting entirely of freestyles, is slated to release on August 20. “I think it’s gonna be a really dope project. All of the freestyles on there I was in a Lexus that has a red interior, hence the name. It’s definitely something for the fans who have rode with me from the jump.”
