Cali Thornhill DeWitt Prepares First SAINT MICHAEL Release
In partnership with Yuta Hosokawa of READYMADE.
After revealing Dickies and Schott collaborations, Cali Thornhill DeWitt has no prepared the first release of his SAINT MICHAEL label.
Created in collaboration with Yuta Hosokawa of READYMADE, the fledgling imprint is centered around a pursuit of vintage. The inaugural Fall/Winter 2020 drop introduces the aesthetic through distinct processing of cotton and sewn finishings. Special sewing machines are used in construction to reference a long-gone era of clothing that holds a special place in DeWitt and Hosokawa’s understanding of fashion. Decorating the vintage fueled range are special printing methods that do not deteriorate over time, hand-painting and evocative motifs directly from DeWitt.
