Harry Potter and K-Swiss Head "Back to Hogwarts" With New Footwear Collection
Two four-shoe packs, one inspired by Hogwarts’ four houses and the other by their Quidditch uniforms.
Following a Firebolt-inspired Hypercourt Express 2, Harry Potter and K-Swiss are looking to the wizarding world’s foremost institution of education with a new “Back to Hogwarts” footwear collection. Honoring Hogwarts’ four houses — Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin — the collection is split into two parts: one that’s a direct nod to each house’s crest and colors, the other an acknowledgement of their Quidditch uniforms.
Each house’s crest and signature colors are represented by a different silhouette. Gryffindor serves up a Classic 2000, done up in rich red suede that’s trimmed with touches of yellow and completed with brown leather striped overlays. Hufflepuff combines yellow and black on the CR-Terrati for a sporty look, and adds its own dash of brown leather. Ravenclaw’s Caprina supplies a crisp blue base with brown leather embellishments, and Slytherin serves a black suede GSTAAD with slithering green stripes and brown leather heel pieces.
Where all four houses use a different silhouette in the first batch of releases, the Quidditch-themed pack supplies Classic 2000s across the board. Each uses single-colored suede in the hue of its house across the upper — red for Gryffindor, grey for Hufflepuff, blue for Ravenclaw and black for Slytherin. Leather side stripes are done in the same color as the base, eyestays are made of brass and each house’s crest is present on its respective shoe’s tongue. Gryffindor, Slytherin and Hufflepuff add contrasting tones on the collar, while Ravenclaw keeps things tonal. Brown leather detailing and white midsoles finalize each shoe.
