Steve Carell Is on a Quest to Colonize the Galaxy in New Trailer for 'Space Force'
“We’re gonna Apollo 13 the sh*t out of this.”
After delivering the teaser trailer for its upcoming Space Force original series, Netflix has now shared the official trailer for the Steve Carell and John Malkovich-starring show. Introducing audiences to General Mark Naird (Carell) and Strangelovian scientist Dr. Adrian Mallory (Malkovich), the trailer details the series’ dim-witted characterizations and outlandish humor that fans can expect.
The comedy, co-created by Carell and The Office writer Greg Daniels, was based on President Trump’s sixth military brand of the same name. The series follows General Naird, who dreams of running the Air Force but is instead assigned to develop and run the Space Force. In the trailer, audiences can catch a glimpse of Naird getting chaotic, unsarcastically saying “We’re gonna Apollo 13 the sh*t out of this.”
The cast also features Ben Schwartz, Diana Silvers, Jimmy O. Yang, Roy Wood Jr., Lisa Kudrow, Jane Lynch, the late Fred Willard, and more.
Check out the trailer above and catch Space Force via Netflix on May 29.
