Schnayderman's Celebrates "Freedom" for FW20
Inspired by the current political situation.
Swedish label Schnayderman’s has showcased its Fall/Winter 2020 collection titled “Freedom.” The collection’s title references the theme that runs throughout it, with the brand looking to the current political climate for inspiration.
References to the collections influence come through in the prints, which include cloud motifs, tabloid newspaper collages and illustrations of killer whales (in a nod to Free Willy). Elsewhere, stripes and checks feature prominently as a reference to borders and constraints placed on people across the world.
Continuing its general design language, Schnayderman’s has focused on shirting for its FW20 collection. Additionally, the brand brings new proportions to outerwear, with oversized fits and exaggerated detailing, while knitwear is also a stand-out theme for the collection.
