The Killers recently debuted their brand new track “Blowback” on CBS, a soaring new ballad off the band’s upcoming LP Imploding the Mirage. Following their bathroom-bound Jimmy Kimmel appearance for the song “Caution” last month, the American rock band took to one of their quaint recording studios in Utah for this performance.

The video was fittingly shot in black and white — Brandon Flowers played on a grand piano, accompanied by Vannucci on an acoustic guitar. The song measures close to three minutes and a half, spotlighting Flowers’ dynamic vocals over stripped back instrumentations. Vannucci’s guitar strumming provided a textured rhythmic foundation for a flurry of rich chord progressions and delicate washes on the piano, culminating in a regal, soulful delivery. The band also covered Tom Petty‘s “The Waiting,” followed by another performance of “Caution.”

Check out the band’s new track “Blowback” above and scroll below for the other performances from the same session.

In case you missed it, here’s a look at the band’s official music video for “Caution.”
