Cheat Codes Calls in Trippie Redd, blackbear & PRINCE$$ ROSIE for "No Service In The Hills"
The L.A. DJ collective’s latest trap-laced single.
L.A. DJ collective Cheat Codes has unveiled its latest single “No Service In The Hills,” bringing in heavyweight names like Trippie Redd and blackbear. The track marks Cheat Codes member Kevin Ford’s debut under his rapper alias PRINCE$$ ROSIE.
Running at approximately two minutes and a half, the song is laced with ghoulish guitar licks, crisp drums and airy synths as melodic autotune vocals from blackbear and Trippie Redd glide smoothly over the lush instrumentals. The first verse is lead by PRINCE$$ ROSIE, delivering lyrics about ignoring unwanted phone calls: “FaceTime glitchin’ (Glitch) / You keep talkin’, I ain’t tryna listen (Listen).” Trippie Redd comes through in the next verse, penning notable quotes like “In this Maybach, man, I’m swervin’ in the hills, yeah / Had to lift up my curtains in the hills.” As a finishing note, the song ends with a catchy hook that features both Trippie Redd and blackbear, “It’s no service in the hills / I can’t hit you back (Yeah), you gon’ have to chill (Have to chill).”
