Per Götesson Reinterprets Weekday Deadstock Pieces for Capsule
One of three collections with emerging design talent from the U.K. and Sweden.
Weekday Store Made Studio is collaborating with talent from across the U.K. and Sweden for three exclusive and unique collections crafted by reworking deadstock pieces from the Weekday archives.
Linking up with London-based Per Götesson for week one, the designer — whose eponymous label made its debut on the London Fashion Week Men’s catwalk with menswear collective MAN in 2016 — has become renowned for his no-frills approach to functional fashion. Drawing on inspiration from the everyday and mundane, Götesson subverts garments to add romance and poetry to traditional ideas of masculinity.
Now teaming up with Weekday Store Made Studio and being given access to Weekday deadstock, Götesson presents the first of these exclusive collections which comprises an array of denim pieces alongside jersey and jewellery.
Available to purchase via Weekday Big Cartel site with all proceeds going to the Civil Rights Defenders, an international human rights organisation, the collection is available to buy now.
