'Sonic the Hedgehog' and XLARGE Celebrate 30th Anniversaries With New Collaboration
Featuring a cowichan sweater, beanies, long-sleeve T-shirts and more.
XLARGE and Sega‘s Sonic the Hedgehog are both commemorating its 30th anniversaries in 2021, and the two have reunited for another collaboration that celebrates the momentous occasion.
The capsule is fronted by a cowichan sweater knitted in Sonic’s iconic blue and red colorway, with a design that sees the character’s face on the back and XLARGE’s gorilla motif in front. Other pieces such as long-sleeve T-shirts, crewneck sweatshirts, hoodies, denim pants, beanies and iPhone cases arrive in hues of either blue, black, white or mustard, with each item featuring the XLARGE logo, a Sonic the Hedgehog patch and other characters such as Emmy (Emily), Knuckles the Echidna, Tails, Shadow the Hedgehog and Dr. Eggman.
The Sonic the Hedgehog x XLARGE collaboration is available now on the calif webstore, with prices ranging from ¥4,400 JPY (approximately $40 USD) to ¥17,600 JPY (approximately $170 USD).
