For Pharrell and adidas, the final few months of 2020 have served as a time to reintroduce the OG NMD Hu to market after spending the last few years on the beefed-up NMD Hu Trail. Now, the two are back again with one final Hu before the year closes: a lively green colorway. Originally releasing in limited quantities earlier in December, this green-hued Hu is now set for its global retail debut.

A rich green shade covers the entirety of the flexible Primeknit upper, and embroidered Vietnamese characters that translate to — you guessed it once again — “Human Race” in English reach from the toebox up to the throat. A significantly lighter green is introduced into the mix on the silver-flecked laces, midfoot cage and heel piece, the last of which swaps the left shoe’s adidas Originals branding for a Pharrell hit.

The two shades of green meet once again on the full-length BOOST midsole, with light green bricks providing contrast against a darker green BOOST backdrop. Simple green outsoles and black insoles with a familiar anatomy graphic finalize the look.

This Pharrell x adidas Originals NMD Hu will release via the adidas webstore on December 23, and is priced at $220 USD.
