adidas Dips Into Its Running Archive for Response CL Silhouette
A nod to the performance technologies of the early 2000s.
Following last week’s release of the updated Ozweego sneaker, adidas now gives a nod of appreciation to the innovative running technologies of the early 2000s, with a sneaker dubbed the Response CL.
Boasting brand archive oddities like Response Cushioning in the midsole, a breathable mesh upper and classic synthetic overlays, the all-new Response CL takes characteristics and technologies from various adidas running sneakers.
The upper of the CL is based on that of the 2003 Response Cushion sneaker, while the tooling technologies have been taken from release of the later years, like the Formotion and famed adiprene.
Colorways vary from understated gray and brown options, to more vibrant combinations like “Core Black/Semi Solar Slime” and “Core Black/Flash Orange”.
The online raffle for the adidas Response CL is live until December 10 via the Hanon webstore.
