RMR Reworks Matchbox 20's "3AM" on New Single "The Wishing Hour"
As part of the ambiguous artist’s ‘4th Quarter Medley’ project.
The ever elusive RMR has dropped off his brand new cut, “The Wishing Hour.”
A remake of Matchbox 20’s 1996 hit “3AM,” the track is an acoustic offering that’s part of his 4th Quarter Medley project. The accompanying music video, directed by Pressure, shows RMR mentally preparing for a show in his greenroom in peace. At the end of the song, he takes a sip of his tea on stage and his bandmates — all of whom are sporting the same distinct mask — freeze in time. He then walks off quietly and we’re brought to another scene that shows him sitting down in front of a person with a bright green suit, indicating what fans can expect from the upcoming visual.
4th Quarter Medley will arrive as a three-part series of reimagined songs and interconnected videos. It also serves as the visual continuation of what RMR set up in “RASCAL” from February.
