Get Your Holy Hand Grenades Ready, 'Worms Rumble' Is Releasing This December
With a cross-play open beta coming this November.
Team 17 has just announced that its cult-classic Worms video game franchise is coming back in the form of a real-time artillery tactical video game. The game will feature the comedic anthropomorphic worm characters and their slew of weaponry — classics like the Super Sheep, Banana Bomb, Ninja Rope, The Prod, and Holy Hand Grenade — will be able to be enjoyed in 4k resolution.
Along with the trailer, Team 17 also released news that cross-play open beta testing will be available between November 6 and 8. Part of the franchise’s 25th-anniversary, the beta will be free for all PS+ subscribers, with the full release arriving on December 1.
