Maruka Foods Introduces 4,184-Calorie Large Format Instant Noodle

Continuing to push the limits, Japanese food purveyor Maruka Foods recently introduced its 4,184-calorie large format instant noodle. Launching advanced stales for the “Peyoung Super Super Super Super Super Super Large Yakisoba Petamax,” the oversized quick meal weighs in at 878 grams, which is about 7.3 times the weight of a normal Peyoung Sauce Yakisoba packet.

Amazingly the large format instant noodle comes in a rectangular serving container that requires 2.2 liters of hot water to be prepared. Inspired by authentic teppanyaki fried noodles, the Peyoung Super Super Super Super Super Super Large Yakisoba Petamax features a base of flavored noodles topped with garnishings like cabbage, pork and toasted sesame seeds. Ready in just three minutes, Maruka Foods recommends sharing the instant meal with a “never eat alone” warning clearly written on the packaging.

Priced at ¥980 JPY (approximately $9 USD), Maruka Foods’ Peyoung Super Super Super Super Super Super Large Yakisoba Petamax is set to be available in Japan starting November 16.
