BEAMS SSZ Links up With Vans on the "Double Pocket" Era
Featuring a hidden coin pouch in the tongue.

Following its slip-on line of sherpa fleece mules, Vans now joins forces with BEAMS Japan’s Surf, Skate, Zine imprint on an exclusive pair of the “Double Pocket” Era. The technical low-top arrives in tonal black and is predominantly dressed in durable suede.
Standout features of the shoe include elastic overlays on the toe portions so it can be worn laceless as well as a hidden coin pocket in the tongue. In addition, each pair is equipped with removable cup insoles that are embellished with SSZ scrawling on a notepad motif to evoke the punkish aesthetic of the Japanese sub-label.
Apart from the subtle technical additions in the shoe, the sneaker sports the classic features of the Pro Era silhouette. The low-top is fitted with sturdy canvas and suede uppers, single-wrap foxing tape, enhanced sockliners for superior cushioning and impact protection, and Vans original waffle outsoles made of a rubber that offers grip and support.
