Porsche 911 Carrera 4S "Belgian Legend" Is the First Special Edition 992

Porsche has just taken the veil off of its Carrera 4S “Belgian Legend Edition,” which is the company’s first special edition for the brand new 992 series of 911s.

Specifically, the special edition is paying tribute to the 75th birthday of former Formula 1 racing driver Jacky Bernard Ickx, who during his racing career has solidified multiple racing victories and is seen as a living legend with the Stuttgart manufacturer. The “Belgian Legend Edition” 911 thus commemorates Ickx with bespoke customization details.

The base for the edition is built on the 992 Carrera 4S — a four-wheel drive version of the new 911 with 444hp and 391 lb/ft of torque through its twin-turbo flat-six engine. This limited edition first modifies the exterior paint — through Porsche’s Exclusive Manufaktur customization program — in Paint to Sample ‘X Blue’ that references the driver’s iconic blue racing helmet. The 20- and 21-inch Carrera Classic wheels also arrive in the custom color with exclusive white accents.

Interior-wise, the cabin is bathed in black leather, with special details not found on the standard C4S: deviated Pebble Grey seat piping, ‘911’ headrests, ‘X’ stitching and a custom autographed central leather armrest are found only in the “Belgian Legend.” Furthermore, Ickx’s signatures are found on the car’s B-pillars as well as the special key fob case included.

Porsche confirms that only 75 units of the 911 Carrera 4S “Belgian Legend Edition” will be made available to the public, and will be sold exclusively in Belgium.
