'Mortal Kombat' Reboot Official Cast and Characters Revealed

Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema have officially announced the full cast of director Simon McQuoid and producer James Wan‘s Mortal Kombat reboot.

The studio has confirmed Joe Taslim (The Raid) as Sub-Zero, Ludi Lin as protagonist Liu Kang, Jessica McNamee (The Meg) as Sonya Blade, Josh Lawson as Kano, Tadanobu Asano (Thor: Ragnarok) as Raiden, Mehcad Brooks as Major Jackson Bridges “Jax”, Max Huang as Kung Lao, Sisi Stringer as Mileena, and as previously announced, Chin Han and Hiroyuki Sanada as Shang Tsung and Scorpion, respectively. Into the Badlands star Lewis Tan has also been credited in an unknown role.

Production has begun in South Australia and will mark as NcQuoid’s directorial debut.

Mortal Kombat is slated to hit theaters on March 5, 2021.

In other entertainment news, Seinfeld is officially coming to Netflix.
