London Fashion Week SS20 Streetstyle Showcased Fitted Suits & Bold Layering
Demonstrated by Jorja Smith, Adwoa Aboah and more.
After an eventful week full of fashion’s biggest labels showcasing their upcoming seasonal garbs, London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2020 has come to an end.
The week long festivity included Riccardo Tisci debuting his third highly-anticipated collection for Burberry — which also happened to include a very blonde Kendall Jenner walking the runway — while Victoria Beckham launched her eponymous beauty line and East-London-based Molly Goddard showcased a bevy of tulle dresses. Additionally a climate change activist group protested against the environmental harm caused by fashion.
Turning our attention to the streets, the five-day event saw London Week attendees flaunting their best fits. Layered looks dominated by bold color and prints brightened up the city’s grey skies while favorites such as Gucci, Prada, JW Anderson, Burberry, and LV remained in the spotlight. High-end luxury accessories and some of the most-coveted sneakers such the Nike Cortez x Kendrick Lamar Basic Slip, Prada Cloudbust Thunder, Nike Shox TL, and Axel Arigato Marathon Runner also made waves. Elsewhere grails like the exclusive Gucci x COMME des GARÇONS tote bag was also spotted.
London Fashion Week wouldn’t be complete without all the industry’s movers-and-shakers coming out to show their support for their peers. Adwoa Aboah was pretty in pink for Molly Goddard, while Peggy Gou was spotted in on-trend sunglasses and a power suit. BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, Jorja Smith, and more were also in attendance.
