Lugz Taps Into the Spirit of Adventure With FW19 Boot Collection

For its latest collection, footwear brand Lugz is tapping into a demand for utility-centric lifestyle options designed with both adventure and style in mind. Founded in 1993, the label received early endorsements from some of hip-hop’s biggest names, including Notorious B.I.G, Dr. Dre, Will Smith and Snoop Dogg. This season, Lugz continues its legacy in streetwear with an exploration-inspired, outdoorsy collection that features three new styles in the Colorado, Joel and Adirondack.
The Colorado boot, offered in a range of nature-inspired colorways, draws inspiration from the Rocky Mountains with a hiking trail upper and a rugged outsole to provide plenty of traction. Intended for urban explorers, the Joel features a memory foam insole, anti-fatigue midsole and a tri-wedge outsole that’s water and slip resistant. The Adirondack skews more athletic with a design derived from the sneaker boot, delivering a clean, cool look in three colorways. Whether for traversing trails or the city streets, the new styles cater every type of explorer.
