Puritalia Berlinetta Hybrid Sportscar to Debut in the UK Next Month
Limited to only 150 models.
Italian sportscar brand Puritalia revealed what it says is its most powerful hybrid sportscar at the Geneva Motor Show back in March. Next month, the company will present the Berlinetta for the first time in the UK at the Salon Privé show. Along with the car’s debut at the Blenheim Palace, Puritalia is also set to announce its dealerships in the UK and Australia.
A front-mounted V8 engine runs alongside the plug-in hybrid sportscar, that when combined bring it to a top speed of 208 mph, with 965 hp and 1,248 Nm of torque. The two-door coupe includes four driving modes, with each one attuned to a different performance and comfort setting, along with an “individual” mode that can be specifically tailored to the driver’s needs. Carbon fiber is used on the exterior of the “super-hybrid,” transitioning into the interior space which is set with touchscreens, voice activation and Italian nappa leather seats. The sculpted surface of the front end moves fluidly to the rear, with sleek aluminum detailing and a dynamic shoulder line.
The car will be available for $625,000 USD with full personalization through a customization program.
