Balenciaga Gives 172-Panel Track.2 Sneaker A Fall-Ready Makeover
Dressed in orange, grey & yellow.

Balenciaga first released its 172-panel Track.2 sneaker back in July, and now the Demna Gvasalia-led label presents a bold Orange, Yellow and Grey iteration of its technical chunky offering.
The reinterpreted Track Sneaker takes last year’s design and adds even more trail runner-indebted design details, which are incorporated into a dense network of interlocking and overlapping leather, nylon and mesh panels. Like its predecessor, the Track.2 features a thick dual-density EVA sole unit that is both lightweight and cushioned, as well as various augmented rubber components that protrude from the sneaker’s mainframe and midsole. Other notable additions to the Track.2 are the cut-out sections on the upper and the all-new “track.2” branding on the tongue.
A trail-inspired lacing system is seen in bright orange, which contrasts against the grey leather eyestay and dark grey tongue. Orange mesh has been used towards the front of the sneaker while grey leather and rubber is used towards the back for more structured support. Touches of yellow can be seen on the toe box, heel tab and sole unit, which brings the shoe together for a construction-like theme.
You can pick up the Balenciaga Track.2 Sneaker in “Orange/Grey/Yellow” from retailers such as MATCHESFASHION.COM for $779 USD.
In other news, Dior has given its B23 sneaker a leopard-print makeover.
