The Audi RS6 Avant Wagon Is Finally Coming to America
The 591 horsepower sports-wagon is set to arrive in 2020.










Audi will finally be bringing its RS6 Avant Wagon to the United States. While the top-of-line variant is currently the only trim mentioned for availability, it is nonetheless good news for those that have been waiting patiently year after year for the European car manufacturer to offer a wagon Stateside.
Based off the Euro specs, the new RS6 Avant is expected to have a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that puts down 591 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. Power is transmitted on all four wheels via Audi’s Quattro AWD tech, allowing the wagon to sprint from 0-60 mph in a time of 3.6 seconds. The RS6 Avant Wagon version also comes stanced 1.6-inches wider than its sibling. The sports-wagon is finished with optional 22-inch wheels, height-adjustable air suspension, and an aggressive-sounding performance exhaust system.
Those interested can expect shipping to begin next year, where the 2020 Audi RS6 Avant Wagon will be required to be purchased from Audi as a “custom-ordered” vehicle.
