Lil Uzi Vert Cancels 2019 Leeds Festival Appearance (UPDATE)
The rapper also pulled out of multiple European music festivals earlier this July.

UPDATE (August 21, 2019): After pulling out of numerous European music festivals earlier this July, Lil Uzi Vert has additionally cancelled his appearance at the 2019 Leeds Festival. The UK festival took to Facebook to confirm the news and update festival goers of the replacement act. “Due to unforeseen circumstances Lil Uzi Vert is no longer able to perform at Leeds 2019,” the organizers said. “Because of the short notice, Enter Shikari will now take this slot on the Main Stage.”
ORIGINAL STORY (July 5, 2019): After dropping a vampire-filled visual for “Sanguine Paradise,” Lil Uzi Vert has canceled a number of music festival appearances in Europe.
In addition to A$AP Rocky’s supposed replacement of him at Open’er Festival in Poland this week (canceled due to his current arrest in Sweden), Uzi has pulled out of this weekend’s Wireless Festival in London and Longitude Festival in Ireland. The Netherlands’ WOO HAH! also announced GoldLink as his substitute for next weekend’s festivities.
According to a post on the r/hiphopheads subreddit, a Longitude representative claimed that Uzi “has decided to cancel the rest of his European festival run.” The rapper is due to perform at a couple more festivals this Summer, including Sónar in Barcelona, Lowlands Festival in the Netherlands and Reading & Leeds in the UK, but no announcements from either Uzi or the organizers have been made.
In related news, Uzi will be headlining Rolling Loud Bay Area 2019 alongside Future, G-Eazy and Migos.
🚨 Unfortunately Lil Uzi Vert and Headie One are no longer able to perform at #WirelessFest. Jay1 will replace Headie One and we will have a very special guest for Lil Uzi Vert’s slot. 🚨

Unfortunately Lil Uzi Vert has canceled parts of his European tour including his show at WOO HAH! We’re also dissapointed about this, but we are very happy to welcome Goldlink as his replacement on this short term.
