Vetements & Reebok Bring Six New Colorways to '90s-Indebted Spike Runner 200
Continuing its long-lived partnership for FW19.
Vetements and Reebok will be releasing the next lineup of their Spike Runner 200 sneaker in the coming weeks, seeing six new colorways land straight off the label’s Fall/Winter 2019 runway.
Demna Gvasalia has given the classic Reebok runner a contemporary, high-tech makeover staying in line with his brand’s signature aesthetic, using design cues which pay tribute to the Premier Running line of 2003 to 2011. The Spiker 200 Runner features a TPU Shank and Reebok’s Kinetic Fit System two-density midsole, as well as a host of mesh, reflective 3M and boldly colored overlayed panels.
For FW19, Vetements and Reebok present six colorways: triple white, black/red, silver/grey, silver/blue/red, silver/neon green/teal and a standout bright orange/black/silver pair. As before, the Vetements logo appears as a rubberized badge on the tongue and the shoe’s name, Spike Runner 200, appears in a silver insert on the rear heel.
Take a look at all six pairs in the gallery above and pick up your favorite colorway from retailers such as MATCHESFASHION.COM for $674 USD when they drop in the coming weeks.
In case you missed it, the latest collection of 11 by Boris Bidjan Saberi x Salomon sneakers have been revealed.
