South2 West8 Heads to the Beach for SS20
Taking a more delicate approach to its outerwear.
NEPENTHES‘ South2 West8 brand looks to the ocean and beaches for its latest lookbook for Spring/Summer 2020. This newest collection sees a more technical approach to the usual outdoors-focused label — gone are the rugged silhouettes, sage green hues, and hunting undertones — and in place are a number of light garments made from thin textiles.
While outdoors motifs like camo print does make its way on few key pieces like the weather-proof jacket and trousers, a more delicate undertaking can be seen in the see-through robes, paisley-print hooded shirt, and teal track pants. Rather than large and bulky cuts, each piece in this collection gives off a light and breezy impression; whether it’s from the wind blowing through the mesh construction, or the light material dancing from a gust, this collection will keep you feeling fresh.
