RAINS References '80s Hip-Hop Scene for Colorblocked Pre-Fall 2019 Collection
Reworking weather-resistant classics and introducing new lines.

Danish outerwear specialist RAINS has dropped a colorblocked Pre-Fall 2019 collection, delivering a host of jackets, pants, bags and caps.
The collection is inspired by streetwear looks from the 1980s and ’90s and drew upon everything from portraits of hip-hop legends to ski-slope attire and family holiday photos for references. The highlights from this collection include a pair of all-new pants delivered in crisp white, as well as the dark navy and white matching pants and anorak jacket look.
Elsewhere, RAINS has dropped a grey and black longline jacket and a grey Boonie hat complete with contrasting red drawcords. Each piece is finished in RAINS’ signature matte-finished water-resistant lightweight fabric.
RAINS shot its lookbook five miles from its headquarters in Aarhus at Topkærgaard, an organic chicken farm run by young farmers in Denmark. Take a look at the Pre-Fall 2019 collection in the gallery above and pick up your favorite piece from RAINS’ outposts and online when it drops on June 14.
