Casa Campanario is the latest residential creation by Pérez Palacios Arquitectos Asociados, enlisting architect Alfonso de la Concha Rojas to co-create the 3,660 sqft rectangular space.
Situated in Querétaro, Mexico, Casa Campanario is a vast minimalist concrete house that is covered with a wooden skin on the first floor for interior privacy. The building brings the outside in, seeing an open-plan ground floor living space open up to the natural environment surrounding the house thanks to a wall of folding doors.
PPAA said in a press release that, “Having a rectangular site, restrictions by developers had an important impact on the project’s placement which required front and back free space… These restrictions were taken as having a single green space where the house was to be located on top of, having a side-to-side condition.” Take a look at Casa Campanario in the gallery above.
