HBO Drops "Inside the Episode" for 'Game of Thrones' Season 8 Episode 2

Following the airing of Game of Thrones Episode 2 of Season 8, HBO has returned with another “Inside The Episode” to break down the latest installment of the long-running series. The executive producers have come together once again to discuss the characters involved in the episode and how their actions will affect the overall plot and direction of the final season ahead.
Kicking things off, the showrunners break down Daenerys’ interaction with Jaime Lannister, noting her conflicted feelings and the state of her trust in Tyrion. Continuing to follow The Dragon Queen’s actions in the episode, we get a breakdown of her meeting with Sansa, which offers more insight into why she decided to meet with the apprehensive Stark.
We then get a full look at all the elements and feelings leading up to the impending battle which will most likely bring the end of several of the franchise’s beloved characters. Finally, we learn that Pordrick’s performance of “Jenny’s Song” at the end of the episode was to express Daenerys and Jon Snow’s current romantic situation while providing some room for speculation as to what will become of their love.
