'Game of Thrones' Season 8 Episode 4 Trailer Shows "The Last War" Is Here

HBO’s Game of Thrones has just released its teaser trailer for next week’s episode 4 of season 8.

Tonight’s episode finalized what many were already thinking – the Night King and his army of White Walkers have been defeated, nearly wiping out Winterfell and its ardent defenders. Yet the realm of the Seven Kingdoms is still in fluctuation, the final battle lays ahead. As noted in the teaser, Dany reveals that the last war has now begun, with Cersei and her Golden Army of mercenaries waiting in King’s Landing for the Dragon Queen and Jon’s arrival. “We have won the great war. Now we will win the last war,” Dany states in the teaser, “we’ll rip her out root and stem.”
Game of Thrones airs Sunday at 9 p.m. on HBO. Episode 4 will have a runtime of 78 minutes.
