Solange Drops Self-Directed Visual for "Almeda"
From her latest album ‘When I Get Home.’
Last week fans were given Solange’s latest LP and accompanying album experience When I Get Home, which offers a unique ode to her hometown of Houston. Now the artist has returned with a brand new visual for her track “Almeda.”
The cinematic, self-directed music video sees Solange vibing around in an intriguingly artistic manner – visually highlighting her lyrical content that showcases the importance of her Brown and Black brothers and sisters. Utilizing some fantastically spliced and choreographed scenes, Solange relishes in her use of zoom-in and zoom-out effects which chime in whimsically against the song’s backdrop.
