YSTRDY’S TMRRW SS19 Draws From European Inspiration
Specifically London and Belgium.
Since making its debut almost two years ago, YSTRDY’S TMRRW has been steadily producing consistent collections that have offered great quality with a novel take on silhouette which should come as no surprise seeing how the brand was created by a former nonnative assistant designer. For Spring/Summer 2019, inspiration came from the fascination between old and new within Europe and Belgium where the designer was drawn to how fixtures such as Buckingham Palace stood against more modern surroundings as the city developed.
Styled in the above editorial by famed retailer COVERCHORD, the collection’s easy-going layers and eye-catching bronze accessories seamlessly blend European influence with YSTRDY’S TMRRW’s signature ’90s design ethos. As seen in the Japanese label’s seasonal lookbook, we are presented with a novel interpretation where traditional European gun club check prints are updated with new colors and cuts. Highlights from the collection include the grey Buckingham Palace hooded sweater as well as the sleek black leather blouson that is versatile enough to become a layering piece in itself.

Elsewhere in Japan, kolor showcased deconstructed Fall/Winter 2019 looks.
