Rick Owens Updates the Geobasket Sneakers With Extra Threads
More threads, more bang for buck?
For its 2019 spring/summer edition of Geobasket sneakers, Rick Owens has updated the cult favorite silhouette with some subtle touches. The shoes adopt a black calf leather upper with seven eyelets that incorporate both laces and side zippers for quicker fastening while sitting atop chunky translucent shark-tooth outsoles. Hits of orange on the geometric side panels along with black stitching details and lengthy threads further accent the hybrid piece of footwear and breaths new life to a classic. Lastly the shoes also feature a unique graphic just below the pull tabs on the tongues to add an extra layer of effect.
