Nike Upgrades Its 90's Air Huarache
Retro design with a modern touch.
Following the drops of the “Clear Emerald/Total Orange” and “Indigo Force/Black” schemes, Nike releases another Air Huarache Edge TXT in a more nostalgic colorway.
Keeping features like the neoprene sockliner and the tongue badge from Tinker-Hatfield‘s original design intact, Nike gives the Air Huarache a modern twist by introducing a new lacing system, leather patches and a large heel piece. The magenta upper mixes with the white netting toebox, while the brim of the sockliner and the two nylon straps are highlighted with neon yellow. Finally a retro white midsole dressed with a black plastic heel piece finishes off the look of this upgraded Air Huarache.
The Air Huarache Edge TXT “Magenta” is now available in China for $110 USD and is expected to be released very soon at US retailers and Nike.com.
