With this year’s PGA Tour currently underway, Nike has appropriately made a special Air Max 1 just for the occasion. This iteration of Tinker Hatfield’s design sees an all-green upper which sits atop a white midsole and gum rubber outsole. Complemented by a white Swoosh on the lateral and medial sides, the upper receives an attention-grabbing makeover with a turf-like material reminiscent of a golf course. The makeover continues as its rubber outsole gets a rugged golf-ready traction instead of its original flat pattern.
The Nike Air Max 1 Golf “Grass” will retail for $140 USD and is expected to launch in the coming weeks at select Nike Sportswear stockists and Nike.com. NSW followers can also take a look at the Nike Air Max 95 “Aluminum.”
