adidas Originals Unveils A.R. Trainer & S.C. Premiere Silhouettes
Inspired by sneakers in the adidas archive.

Fresh from officially debuting the Lexicon silhouette, adidas Originals is readying two new archive-inspired sneakers: the A.R. Trainer and S.C. Premiere. Both silhouettes come in muted colorways, and are heavily influenced by classic adidas sneakers.
The S.C. Premiere is based on 40 years of adidas’ court shoe silhouettes. The sneaker is constructed from a premium leather upper, which sits atop a rubber midsole and an off-white outsole. The SC Premiere is finished with a contrasting heel tab and a trefoil logo window on the lateral side.
For the A.R. Trainer, adidas has reimagined 1988’s ASC Trainer. Coming with a white leather upper, the sneaker also features a panelled construction and fluid aesthetic designed to reference ’80s tennis sneakers. In a further nod to the era, the sneaker also features an ’80s-style multi-purpose training sole unit and trefoil logo. Both sneakers will release via the adidas Originals web store on January 24.
