Pond Announces 'Tasmania' Album, Co-Produced by Kevin Parker of Tame Impala
Psychedelic rock is back.
The Australian rock band Pond has been riding their own wave since their last studio album release in 2017. The band, thankfully, have finally announced their eighth studio album Tasmania, set to arrive on March 1. The album is produced in collaboration with Kevin Parker of Tame Impala who has been a long time friend of the band.
The group released a music video for their new single “Daisy” which is listed to be on the Tasmania album. The video continues on with their psychedelic vibes but less of the bright synths that fans have been so accustomed to. “Daisy” is shot in Australia’s Kulin and Nyoongar Nations’ lands, a picturesque location for the luminous and soft, upbeat track.
