The Weeknd Scores His First Number One Album
The Weeknd has been having a great year so far.

The Weeknd has been having a great year so far, expanding his fanbase as his numerous contributions to the charts this year indicate — especially his single “I Can’t Feel My Face,” which has been owning the summer. According to Hits Daily Double, this success can be also seen in his album’s first week sales, as he moves 325,267 copies of Beauty Behind The Madness, and 415,267 units including streams, making it his first number one album ever. His debut album, Kiss Land, landed at number two in 2013 with slightly less than 100,000 in sales. On top of that, Beauty Behind The Madness also tops every rap and R&B release this year outside of Drake. Not too bad.
