A hometown hero’s welcome.
The Weeknd recently returned to the site of his very first performance, The Mod Club, to celebrate the release of his highly-anticipated second studio album Beauty Behind the Madness. Back in 2011, the Toronto native made his live debut at the venue when he was still relatively unknown, but this latest sold-out performance in front of an intimate crowd of 700 really showed how much his hometown fans adore him. Performing a selection of classics in addition to some more recent releases in a pair of Yeezy Boosts nonetheless, check out some of the live footage above courtesy of VEVO.
