The MGMT Comeback Has Been Pushed Back
Bittersweet news.
As Stereogum notes, popular duo MGMT originally planned to launch a major “comeback” this year. However, it looks like their initial plans have been derailed. Taking to Twitter, the pair have revealed that they’re plotting their grand reintroduction in 2017 instead of 2016. “Meant to say MGMT re-dominates your mind hole in *2017,” they tweeted, referencing their original comeback tweet. Earlier this year, MGMT linked up with Mac DeMarco in the studio. Despite the lack of new, original music, the duo have resurfaced for a Suicide cover and tribute.
