Maison Margiela's Glue-Covered Fusion Sneaker Receives Two New Colorways
Priced at $1,645 USD.
Continuing the push of its beyond outlandish Fusion Sneaker into the Fall/Winter 2018 season, Maison Margiela recently put together two new colorways of its glue-covered footwear option.
Serving as a prime display of the unique design sensibility established by Martin Margiela, the Fusion sneaker is a mashup of different shoe components that form one singular statement piece. This time around, the shoe is done in a “Nero/Arancio/Bianco” and a new “Multicolor” scheme, which brings attention to the cage overlay, heel counter jumble and complicated knot lacing system. Rounding up the design of the colorways is a ridged rubber sole dressed in melted glue and haphazard hits of color.
Priced at $1,645 USD, the two new colorways for Maison Margiela’s glue-covered Fusion sneakers are available now at Farfetch.
In case you missed it, Maison Margiela’s FW18 PVC Tote Bags reference the design house’s iconic number motif.
