Jack White Produces Wanda Jackson's New Album

Always keen to broaden musical horizons, Jack White is set to produce the new album the original queen of Rockabilly, Wanda Jackson. According to reports, the album, tentatively titled The Party Ain’t Over will be released on January 25 via Third Man/Nonesuch. In addition to producing, Jack White also put together an impressive backing band that includes himself, his wife Karen Elson, Raconteurs members Jack Lawrence and Peter Keeler, My Morning Jacket’s Carl Broemel and Jackson Smith, the son of Patti Smith and husband of Meg White.

The project will mainly consist of overs chosen by Jack White. Among them are Amy Winehouse’s “You Know I’m No Good,” Bob Dylan’s “Thunder on the Mountain” and much more.
